Glenbrook
to Blaxland
66km to 71km from Sydney
Glenbrook is a quaint little village with a proud history
linked with early exploration and trains.
South
of the highway you’ll find the tranquil National Park which
holds numerous attractions, specially Red Hands Cave, Jelly
Bean Pool and Euroka Clearing, where, at dusk you can almost
always count on seeing kangaroos.
Hand
prints, hand stencils and grinding grooves from an Aboriginal
culture at least 20,000 years old can be found in and nearby
Red Hands Cave and along Campfire Creek.

Red
Hands Cave
Back
near town, Wascoe Siding Miniature Railway - open on the first
Sunday of each month - is a delight. In the grounds of the
Ampol service station you will see the wonderfully restored
former Stationmaster’s sandstone cottage.
To
the north of the highway is lovely Glenbrook Lagoon and Elizabeth’s
Lookout which provides a panoramic view of the plains.
