ENTRY & GUIDELINES
There’s no fee and entries are welcome from amateurs or professionals, including Australian and overseas visitors. Your photograph should show an image clearly depicting a Mountains panorama or location. The competition lends itself to landscape but personal portraits are considered if they create an obvious Mountains context – for example, a friend against a panoramic backdrop or waterfall. Images may be captured digitally or on film. Prints must be 19cm x 12.5cm, submitted between two strong cardboard pieces (exterior marked ‘photograph: do not bend”) Emailed digital images need to be 300dpi jpeg (minimal compression) at the same size.
Include a short description of your image (which must be taken during 2012), the title, date and location and anything relevant on its inspiration or technical detail. Every Mountains season is different and we welcome pictures from throughout the year, but remember that December 31 deadline. Mail to Box 21, Springwood, NSW, Australia 2777, email: enquiry.bmwonder@ruralpress.com, or call (+612) 4782 1514. Colour images only, please, and remember to include your contact details. Good luck!

2010 WINNERS
The Blue Mountains Wonderland Photographic Competition for 201o, sponsored by the Blue Mountains Wonderland Magazine, was won by Simon Changson from Wattle Grove in Sydney for his magnificent panorama of the Three Sisters, which was captured on a Nikon FM2.
Katoomba’s Toni Hutchison was awarded 2010 2nd prize for her extremely ‘atmospheric’ “Country Lane”. Toni used Facebook to find an instant mother and daughter when rolling fog promised a great shot.
